Michael attended Lake Sumter College where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He first entered the financial services industry in 1990 by joining Metropolitan Life where he was a Registered Representative.
Michael moved into the banking industry in 1993 after joining Mid-State Federal Savings Bank (which later became AmSouth Bank) as an Account Executive. While with AmSouth Bank, he achieved the status of “Million Dollar Club” member during each quarter and ultimately the “Greatest Annual Production“Award. Michael then joined SouthTrust Bank as an Investment Officer where he was responsible for seven bank branches throughout the Central Florida region.
In 1995, Michael was hired by Charles Schwab as a broker, and a few years later he moved into management where he supervised teams of up to 50 Registered Representatives. During Michael’s 10 years with Charles Schwab, he led his teams to win the company’s “Chairman’s Club” Award on two separate occasions, and he was a two time winner of the prestigious Charles Schwab “Excellence in Service Award.”
In 2004, he became a member of PremiereTrade Securities as a Registered Representative and was later assigned the role of Manager of the Customer Service Call Center. Michael’s responsibilities continued to grow at PremiereTrade when he was selected as the Senior Vice President and Supervising Principal of PremiereTrade Securities Inc.
When Michael is not at PremiereTrade, he enjoys spending time with family, riding his motorcycle and tinkering with his sports car. He is also an avid writer and enjoys spending time alone writing articles, stories and screenplays. In addition Michael is an ardent fan of Disney, where he and his family spend a great deal of their free time.
